ProJourn Legal Director to Participate in 8th Annual In-House Pro Bono Summit

Every year, Davis Wright Tremaine organizes its In-House Pro Bono Summit, a half-day program exclusively designed for in-house lawyers and business professionals. 

ProJourn Legal Director, Christina Piaia, will participate in the panel: “JUSTICE THROUGH JOURNALISM: ONE POWERFUL PRO BONO PARTNERSHIP”.

Strong partnerships between in‑house legal teams and law firms can dramatically expand the reach and impact of pro bono work. Panelists will discuss how the ProJourn partnership model works in practice, the ethics of co‑counseling complex pro bono matters, and how in‑house lawyers can contribute through newsroom legal checkups, pre‑publication review, and other critical support. The conversation will highlight how in-house and law firm partnerships can unlock ambitious pro bono work and make meaningful, real‑world impact possible.
